Vietnam's geography variety and its various climatic zones mean that visitors can enjoy most parts of the country year round. However, it is true to say that some parts of the country are best visited at different times of the year. Let Sisters ToursVietnam know your travel plan then we will recommend the most suitable itineraries so that you can fully relax and enjoy our country's natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.

The best time to travel anywhere in Vietnam is during the months of October to April. Spring time (January to March) is especially pleasant because of the cooler, drier climate. During the spring time, you will be able to observe many of our very traditional folk festivals and other rituals as well as the commemorations of our national heroes and heroines, folk cultural festivals, spring festivals, as well as prayer ceremonies for good crops, to cite just a few. The most interesting things you will want to see is the Lunar New Year Festival known as Tet.

Harvesting of rice and other crops occurs between September and April. This is a particularly interesting time to visit and photograph rural Vietnam.

The North and Central regions are best visited in the coldest months of December, January, February, when the temperature is around 10-15 degree Celsius, you are recommended to bring along warm clothes. It becomes warmer in March and April.

Meanwhile in the South, which is tropical, the average temperature throughout the year is about 27 degree Celsius, so you just need thin, lightweight clothing. Sunglasses and a soft hat are definitely recommended as is a good moisturizing sun screen.

Sisters Tours Vietnam will always advise you, well before your departure/arrival about the weather conditions you may reasonably expect during your tour with us.
